The City of Berea and the Rotary Club of Berea are jointly sponsoring a Community Shred Fest in the parking lot of Roehm MIddle School, 7220 Pleasant St. The Shred Fest will be staffed by volunteers from Rotary, who will also collect unused and expired prescription medications for disposal by Southwest General Health Center. They also will collect any unwanted eyeglasses and eyeglass parts, which will be donated to Lions Club International for recycling. There is no cost to dispose of unwanted documents but donations to Rotary will be accepted to support Rotary's local projects, such as scholarships for Berea High, Olmsted Falls High and Polaris students, support of youth sports and floral plantings for the north entrance to the city.
