Syndrome X or titled Metabolic Syndrome

Metabolic syndrome in people can increase their risk of coronary heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, stroke, and type 2 diabetes.  It is becoming increasingly common in the United States. Over 50 million Americans are estimated to have Metabolic Syndrome.

Do you have weight gain around your abdominal area?

Are any of your lipid panel (Cholesterol, Triglycerides, Glucose, etc.) results not in the normal range?

Do you have 3 or more of the 5 major signs of Metabolic Syndrome?

The more conditions can equal a greater risk.

Dr. Douglas Weeks spent years as an ER doctor and director of an ER at a local area hospital. He watched many preventable diseases go undiagnosed until they were at the critical stage.  Join us at the Airport Holiday Inn Cleveland  Tuesday September 14th 6:30pm to learn the signs and symptoms of Metabolic Syndrome at the upcoming lecture in the "Take Charge of YOUR Health-Care Series" Metabolic syndrome.
