Description:

Parenting Classes offered at The Women's Center of Greater Cleveland last five weeks. The classes meet on Fridays from 9:30-11:30 am. All five classes must be completed to receive a certificate. It is permissible to miss and "make up" one class (but the student must wait until the particular class is offered again). If a student misses more than one class, the entire series must be repeated.
Charges for the Parenting Classes are $50 a person or $75 a couple. The classes must be paid for in full by the Thursday before the classes are to begin. Currently Medicaid or Insurance does not cover the Parenting Classes. No refunds will be given.
Parenting Class 1:
Parenting While Using: Avoiding, Enabling, Keeping Secrets, Controlling, Making Promises, Causing Family Shame, Emotion, Sexual and/or Physical Abuse and Instability.
Parenting Clean and Sober: Active Parenting, Responsibility, Setting Clear and Appropriate Limits, Enforcing Limits, Appropriate Consequences, Expression of Feelings and Stability.
