Presented by the Oswald Companies, Walk to Remember is Hospice of the Western Reserve's most important community fundraiser of the year. Walk in memory of your loved ones while raising funds to support pediatric hospice, music, art and pet therapies, community grief support services and much more.
Walkers are encouraged to invite family and friends in their “bubble” to form a team and share why they support Hospice of the Western Reserve with others. It’s fun and easy to create a team fundraising page on the Walk website, share team members’ stories and track the team’s progress. A virtual team option is also available this year. Those who cannot attend the event are invited to form a team, invite their members to participate in weekly walk activities and share photos on Facebook (tag @HospiceWR).
Registration ($25 Adult, $12 Child, $75 Family) is available online or the day of event includes all-day admission to the zoo and RainForest and a commemorative face mask. Wristbands and face masks will be distributed at drive-through registration tents beginning at 7:30 a.m. Entry to the zoo begins at 8 a.m. All participants must enter zoo gates by 1 p.m. and can begin walking with their teams upon arrival. Current safety protocols will be observed. Spend the day with your family while supporting Hospice of the Western Reserve's compassionate mission in our community!
