2024 Art Fest

Saturday, July 27 - 10:00 AM

This year, the Rotary Art Festival is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 27, 2024 between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. Dozens of artists will be participating this year. Food and drink will be available. Music is scheduled throughout the day. The Festival itself will be on the grounds just west of Westlake Porter Public Library.  Parking will be next-door at Westlake Elementary School. Admission to the event is free to the public.

The Rotary Art Festival is an event hosted by Westlake-Bay Village Rotary, part of Rotary International, a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders and problem solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in this community and in ourselves. You can see us at work locally in many places including Westlake City Schools, Bay Village Schools, Ames House – Hospice of the Western Reserve, Meals on Wheels, Milestones Autism Resources, STAR Camp, Best Buddies, the City of Westlake, Bay Village.

The money raised from this festival goes directly back to the community for funding such things as kitchen equipment, college scholarships, assistance to those with special needs, family dinners at Ames House.

Westlake – Bay Village Rotary is extremely pleased to announce our 2024 Art Festival Featured Artist, Will Wilson

Will Wilson is an artist who is interested in synthesizing a variety of traditional and non-traditional art forms. Experimentation with media and styles leads to mixing cartooning, graffiti, and traditional art.

He explores concepts related to our absorption and expression of information as we move through life using drawings and paintings that echo but do not mimic popular culture. Wilson likes to create images that are both bold and direct, but also swimming with little details for those who are willing to investigate.

Wilson was born and raised in California, receiving his BFA in Drawing and Painting from California State University of Long Beach. He also holds an MA in Arts Education from Case Western Reserve University.

He now resides in the greater Cleveland area where he is a high school art teacher and a father of three. He works as an artist, muralist, and illustrator.
