Blanket-Making Party

Mayor Cyril Kleem and his family invite residents to join them on Feb. 24 for a blanket-making party at the Berea Recreation Center, 451 Front St.

The fleece blankets will benefit local charities. Last year, the blankets were donated to Maryssa's Mission and the Veterans Outreach Office.

Volunteers are asked to bring 2 1/2 yards of fleece cloth, any color or design; and scissors.

There will be food, beverages and door prizes. There also will be a craft station for children.
