HEAP Assistance

The Cuyahoga County Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) is designed to ensure that seniors and others on limited incomes can access help with gas and electric bills.
A representative of Cuyahoga County Division of Senior & Adult Services will explain HEAP at the Berea Recreation Center on Wednesday, Feb. 1. Eligibility for assistance is based on household income.
Those seeking information should bring with them:
- Monthly Social Security & Pension Income information.
- Photo ID.
- Gas & Electric bills.
- Social Security & Medicare cards.
- If there are minor children at home, bring birth certificates for each and any income sources.
Information on all members of the household must be provided.
