HEAP Information Program

The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) is designed to aid low-income residents meet the high costs of heating their homes.
A representative of the Cuyahoga County Division of Senior & Adult Services will explain the program and eligibility requirements on Wednesday, Feb. 28 at the Berea Recreation Center, 451 Front St. Registration is required. Contact Michelle Skutt at (440) 234-6080.
Assistance is available for both gas and electric bills. Participants should bring with them the following documents:
- Proof of Monthly Social Security/Pension Income
- Photo ID
- Gas & Electric Bills
- Social Security & Medicare cards
- Information on all members of the household
- If there are minor children in the home, bring a birth certificate and proof of any income
