Inlet's 2024-2025 Workshop & Audition
Saturday, March 16 - 9:00 AM
Instead of a formal audition, Inlet will hold two free two-day workshop for those interested in joining our Trainee & Apprentice Program for the 2024-2025 season, employing a "get to know you" approach. The workshop will include classes in Erick Hawkins-based release modern technique, Alison Chase/Pilobolus-based nontraditional partnering, and structured improvisation. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn selections from Inlet's 20 years of repertory.
During Inlet Dance Theatre's 23-year history, we have transformed from a small dance company with local impact into a celebrated organization that impacts people on an international level. The company's motto is "using dance to further people." We seek skilled dance artists with a desire to collaborate, educate and perform.

Time: 2-6pm (3/16) & 9am-12pm (3/17)
Location: Inlet Dance Theatre's Studios in Cleveland, Ohio

- Informal meet & greet with company members.
- Erick Hawkins-based release modern technique class, followed by repertoire and classes in structured improvisation & Alison Chase/Pilobolus-based nontraditional partnering.
Day 2:
- Erick Hawkins-based release modern technique class, followed by repertoire and classes in structured improvisation & Alison Chase/Pilobolus-based nontraditional partnering.
- Q&A opportunity with company members.
*Please be prepared to dance barefoot, and bring socks for floorwork
