Japanese Kokedama

Tuesday, September 28 - 6:30 PM

You are invited to hear our Chippewa Garden Club’s speaker on Tuesday, September 28 at 6:30 pm.   Lynne Evans, a CGC member, will conduct a class demonstration in Japanese Kokedama (the poor man’s Bonsai).  Kokedama is the practice of taking the root ball of a plant and suspending it in a mud ball, which is then coated with soft green moss.  It is a living planter as well as a distinctive display piece.   Come and see how easily you can do this too!

The gathering is scheduled to start at 6:30 pm and will be in the Brecksville Community Center around the back at the Human Services entrance, at 2 Community Drive, Brecksville.

This is free and open to the public with free parking.  New friends and interested members are always welcome.
