Chippewa Garden Club’s Tuesday, March 23 at 7:00 pm ZOOM meeting will include a PowerPoint presented by one of its Master Gardeners, Jo Ann Bartsch.
Would you like to know some of the “whys” of when leaves and flowers emerge, or seeing the first butterflies and birds, or when the leaves start to change color in the Fall? Jo Ann’s topic will be on Phenology, which is the study of cyclical natural events that happen in response to seasonal and climate changes in the environment, as well as habitat factors. Using these observations, scientists can develop a yearly calendar of when certain events will occur, just by tracking temperature.
Get your questions ready, as you can put them in the CHAT section of our ZOOM for Jo Ann to answer.
